FAQ
How do I book a shoot?
Simply fill out the contact form and answer the questions. Once we chat, you'll sign a photo release form and you'll pay a down deposit.
I'm in a same-sex relationship. Can I still work with you?
It would be my honor! FIVE12 STUDIO's mission is to capture the beauty in EVERYONE: this includes all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, races, etc.
What is your refund policy?
All payments are final. If you need to reschedule, reach out and we can work something out!
How Long Are Photo Sessions?
At a minimum, photo sessions are an hour long. More time is available for purchase if needed, but usually, this time works for everyone when shooting portraits and families.
For campaigns and brand projects, there is a minimum of two hours.
How do I book a studio session?
Message me for details. There's a list of studios around Dallas that I love working with.
*Studio time must be purchased by the client.
Silly question but...what do I wear?
Remember Glamour Shots? While the photos were trendy for the time, they're a bit cringe-worthy now, eh?
I tell my clients to think classic but original to who they are. Think about how you want to feel when you look back at these photos in 10 years and plan from there.
Where are you based?
Dallas, but I travel in-state. There is an additional charge for mileage after 20 miles.

What is your turnaround time?
All photos will be uploaded for the client to view and download within a 10-14 day window. I will send a sneak peek in about 7 days.
And now a word ABout COVID
Dear Client,
Depending on who you ask, the pandemic is or is not over. Yes, the CDC said if people are vaccinated they don’t have to wear a mask inside or outside. However, that has nothing to do with me.
Here’s what will be in place until (at least) January 2022:
- I am continuing to wear a mask during the entirety of our photoshoots.
- Currently, the limit of guests (those not part of the photoshoot) will be limited to one, and they must practice social distancing as well. If you have kids, please let me know ahead of time if you can, but we can work it out.
- Any objects brought to the shoot by me will be sanitized thoroughly.
- As of now, I will not be photographing any indoor events.
This is not about politics, this is about safety for both of us.
